These are some of the best months to visit Patagonia, or to ride in the paramo of Ecuador’s volcanoes, along Uruguay’s palm fringed beaches and through Colombia’s colourful coffee region with all its tropical warmth. The Serengeti season begins in Tanzania, it’s a peak safari time in Kenya and India and Jordan will provide a light, bright escape from the grey of European winter.
